I've noticed a large majority or people are either 'gay' or 'bisexual' on this site, and this is quite a passionate topic of mine, but what are your views on homosexuality and how do you feel about the way it gets badly looked upon?

People shouldn't be so bothered about other people's lives if it isn't affecting them. Won't happen though..

I don't get why people have things against people who are gay/bi/lesbian etc. My best mates a lesbian, i'm bi and my close mates bi but we can't say a thing to any of our other mates. In our school you get beat up for being anything that isn't 110% straight. Its stupid. My dad is extremely homphobic. He told me if he finds out i am not completely straight i'll be disowned =S My ex was bi, he found out and played hell at me. I know loads of people who are bi n don't go to my school though. Two of my guy mates where kissing, my dad banned me from seeing them for a month! I hate having a homophobic dad =( xoxox

Your dad is a bit extreme, but sadly a lot of parents would be the same. Times change and they don't understand that like we don't fully understand how life was for them at our age.

I like it.... i am so angry of ppl who nowadays picks on the homosexuals... they are really kind ppl... myself.. i don't know if i am bi-sexual or not...

how do you know if your bi, straight or gay exactly? as like kissing someone of the same sex doesnt nessassary make you gay....

o well im bi and its pretty cool..one day i was sitting on a bench in the park..on the bench next to mine a guy was kissing a gurl..and a thought striked mii mind "why do guys get all the gurls??!!??" silly uhmm?

I don't get why people have to be against it. I find it sickening that people think it's okay to interfere with other peoples' lives or take away the rights of another living being just because a religious book says it's okay to do that. Love should just be love. Personally, I don't care if someone takes a computer to Las Vegas to marry it. If they love it enough, why not? At school it was like half the popular kids were coming out as gay or bi. Probably just to look cool though, I could only believe a handful of them being really gay or bi. The rest were just posers trying to look cool because the other guy came out as gay. The kids were fine with that. Heck, anyone who came out as gay was celebrated. But god forbid a teacher so much as looked gay. I remember the backlash this PE teacher had just because she had short hair. There is a massive double standard these days I think. If you're well enough liked, nobody will say anything bad about you being gay or bi. You'd even be celebrated for coming out. If you're unpopular, people will call you gay just because it seems like a good "insult" to throw at someone. I know I have called some people gay just because I don't like them, and I know other people have, too. That stuff needs to stop. I hate that there is so much stigma around it even in 2015.
