that is because poe is amazing. i am more of a person that if you'll write poetry i'll read it so emo or not it really doesn't matter to me but my favortie poet of all time is a man named john donne. he is the deepest most funny, most comprehensive writer--besides hemingway and john updike--that i have ever incountered.

Well I dont think that this is strickly emo but it changed my life and perseption of death. I use to be so scared of dying but know I dont mind and im fasinated by it. Its by Ben Johnson - On My First Sonne Farewell, thou child of my right hand, and joy; My sinne was too much hope of thee, lov'd boy, Seven yeeres tho'wert lent to me, and I thee pay, Exacted by thy fate, on the just day. O, could I loose all father, now. For why Will man lament the state he should envie? To have so soone scap'd worlds, and fleshes rage, And, if no other miserie, yet age? Rest in soft peace, and, ask'd, say, here doth lye For whose sake, hence-forth all his vowes be such As what he loves may never like too much. Basicaly his 7 year old son died and he thinks its his fault because of the sins his comitted. He says that why do we fear death and greve about the dead when we should envy them because they escaped this world of pain and suffering. Well I like it anyway. x

'Tis true ; then learn how false fears be ; Just so much honour, when thou yield'st to me, Will waste, as this flea's death took life from thee. this poem is a little hard to get and it takes a lot of interpritation but it is really quite funny. yes, he is taling about a flea but it's a suduction poem.
