Drifted away from the emo scene? Jun 15 2008, 12:19 PM
Do you know anyone that followed the emo fashion sense, music taste, etc but is now trendy? What do you think the reason for the change would be? The people they are around? Did they get sick of getting stick for being emo?

I made the mistake of saying 25 before. I'm sure there are quite a few into the emo scene around that age. I'd be more interested at anyone 30+

The only problem with going over 30 is that they might be into the old emo scene, so some one over 30 may have to of got into the emo scene in there 20's maybe??

Very true Matt and the emo scene is always evolving and going in different directions. Some say it will die out soon. I don't agree. Does anyone else?

I dont think it will die, I think it will evolve again and it will grow. Because ive grown up in romford and 2-3 years ago I would never see an emo anywhere. but now theres not alot of emo but there is a hell of alot more then there was. Evolution is the way, its funny I was thinking about this today. :O

Well emo has gone from geeky emo to scene emo sorta thing. I'm not sure how it will go from here really. In a few years time I guess the whole 'emo' culture won't be mentioned as much though.

No, it really wont. Our kids will look at our yearbooks and be like "wtf is wrong with your hair?" cos it'll be cool to have like, no bangs or someting rediculous when we're all old and have kids. bahaha.
