why is it that most 'alternative' hairstyles involve having straight hair? i carnt be bothered to straighten my hair all the time and i prefer it a bit wavy but most alternative people straighten their hair.... who prefers straight hair to curly? why is straight hair the fashion?

4 months :D so not that long and it started really short :S and my mum wants me to get it styled today infact :O so i might lose some of it.

Well do get it styled, but don't lose much because your mum thinks you should. I went through all that!!

I went and it was amazing lol, Im used to going and getting my hair cut and they just use clippers then your out the door. But here they washed my hair twice then conditioned it, its well nice then she dryed it then straightened it and then took of less then half a cm and then thinned it. :D

Thinning your hair...one important thing that you have to do, but a lot of people don't bother. I need to myself!!

It makes it alot neater and not as puffy :P but yea I didnt think i neeeded to but the difference is there and its better.

I perfer straight. Manily because my hair is naturally curly. And when i mean curly i mean afro frizzy. Lol. I can't stand it when my hair is not straight. It makes me stress, and i like having my bangs in my eyes, orelse it's just annoying if it's not.

Straight Haiir.. Not AlWAYS the answer for me,, Sometimes i have my hair reeally curly with a fringe XD its short so it looks funky. Id say straight hair is more common since its so managable ? I Guess If you had curly hair it would be reeeally hard to cut it into a style and have it reconigsed by everyone else.. Hmm. Blah yeh Horid/Weird Opinion xD

thats true i want like a style with my hair, maybe an long fringe but i cba to straighten it all the time so it wouldnt work with my wavy hair :(

Yea they are rubbish Vic hehe. If you ever wanna straighten your hair get some like mine. Anyway I buggered up my hair cutting it myself lol!

Well I was straightening my hair and this particular bit of hair wouldnt straighten well so I cut it off and now it looks worse - I cut it too short... :( Thank god for hair clips :D

Haha cut it off :P sounds funny, I have days where a little bunch of hair wont go down but, dont cut it off :P lean your hand against it hard for a good 5 minutes and it should sort its self out. :D

Well that makes it worse really. For me at least. Because my fringe is rather short and doesn't reach to my eyes yet (don't worry, I'm growing it :D) but yeah, if I hold it down it just pings out even more and like bounces away because it can't like 'hang' down. I hate it! :P Ah well, once my fringe is longer it'll be resolved I'm sure. I quite like how your hair looks now Baby Matt - I looked at your pictures too - you didn't tell me you were going to take pictures of it in stages?! Grr you :P Ah well, I've seen them now and I must say you're looking rather good :D
