straight hair? Jul 07 2008, 07:04 AM
why is it that most 'alternative' hairstyles involve having straight hair? i carnt be bothered to straighten my hair all the time and i prefer it a bit wavy but most alternative people straighten their hair.... who prefers straight hair to curly? why is straight hair the fashion?

Id recommend the 7.99 ones from argos :D I have always spent loadsa money on straightners and lotions n potions to get my mad curly hair to straighten and now i bought those i dont have to put anything on my hair (so saving money!) and its straighter than ever before :D p.s i was recommended them by my bf lol cos i kept going round to his when i needed my hair straightened before uni or a night out, so i basicly got to try before i bought :p but yeah there a bargain xxx

Gosh really, but does it take any longer than it would if you got the more costly ones?

No there better than my old ones in every sense :) Lets say (speaking from experiance lol) i wake up and need to be in uni in 20 minutes, PANIC!!!! but i now know il be ready in less than 15 minutes, includn dressing, make up etc and poker straight hair :D one of the best 8 i ever spent, oh and i paid 1 for 3 years warranty which means even if accidently damage in the next 3 years i get brand new ones :) woop woop!

I recommend the Remington, but any from Argos are going to be fine. It's not like that have to actually do much. I'd avoid makes you have never heard of though.

My hair is naturally straight.. I just iron it so when it messes up, it's still easy to fix. P.S. I hate curly ends on my hair =]

Aww and yeah, I get that, well I did. When I first got them and spent like ages trying to straighten my hair. Top got really hot and I ended up having a burnt red thumb >.< Glad to know they worked nonetheless though :D
