Just interested if any of your parents understand what 'emo' is at all? If so what is their understanding of this confusing term?

my dad thinks emo is "cutting yourself and listening to devil worshipping music" lol xD i wouldnt bother explaining because he wouldnt understand or change his perspective, no matter how many times i explained D:
