Twilight has affected my train of thought as well.
Though I finished the book like after it first came out
I have recently written my first vampire poem!!!
My dad says he likes it...that he could picture a female vampire looking
over someones shouder. fangs near neck..hair in one eye.small dribble of blood on her lip..hahhaha what you guys think?

The stras are out the moon is full.
All I need now is the crimson kiss
Of the blood of life flowing o'er my lips
Eternal damnation
But I care not
When it's all that you know
You don't give it much thought
All I need is a place to take cover
To watch from the darkness my mortal lover
I swoop in from the shadows
His heart pounds with fear
But he calms as I whisper

And as we're sharing a passionate embrace
My fangs pierce his neck, color drains from his face
And so love does suffer
For whats real and whats not
It's only a blood lust
But it's all that I've got....
