i would agree with you but as it appears that what emo is to people and its thier ignorrance that blinds them. but really emo is not self harming and suicide just gave up on my defination

Emo is not definable..

The second a person self harms to be more "emo" is the second they stop being "emo" and start being part of a mindless fashion craze..

for me, i think EMO is being who you are
i mean expressing what you feel
coz EMO is for EMOTION/EMOTIONAL
it falls to different kind of definition

so in my opinion

EMO is who you are

(just correct me guys if ever i did some errors)

Seriously I agree. I get told all the time to go cry and cut myself and it's like wat the fuck ppl? I don't cut myself and i'm tired of their sterotypes its stupid

i agree with all of u guys i hate the fact that ppl think all emos cut and are gay or must wear certain stuff or look a certain way. to me it will always be about the music . and i must say sum emo ppl do cut(moi  ) but not to be more emo sum ppl just self harm emo or not .if they r emo ok if they r not ok !  wen ppl start cutting to be more emo its not ok its makes them a shit head
