What great bands do you miss because they have 'gone quiet' or split up?

I have gone through my vast music library recently and there certainly are some awesome bands I miss and I have to say there aren't so many iconic bands nowadays (in my opinion anyway).

err carnt think of any more off the top of my head, i dont know many of these new emo bands :S

Evanescence. WHAT I hear you scream, THEY'RE STILL GOING! Are they though? The next album is going to be Amy Lee without the band. She pisses me off now.. I used to love her but now it's all slushy love songs ruining perfectly good albums. What was the point in 'Good Enough'? made me want to barf. RIP True Ev. You're dead.

I would say limp bizkit but I search for limp bizkit and they are rollin xD (new album "the unquestionable truth") evanescence, yeah yellowcard, blink182 and system of a down (no more songs like chop suey, ATWA, question :'(

SOAD yeah. I liked Serj's solo stuff too tho it was just like SOAD but different...?
