The Burning Sun and Heavy Rain Jun 08 2009, 01:29 PM

I haven't posted poetry here in a while, I'm working on a little poetry book.. so here's a sample :) Like sorrow skies send rain and the sun scorches those below So does the pain of love rack my soul, as dying is easier than growing old At least the pain is over and I don’t have to suffer anymore. Or do I? Does the rain bring new life? Or does it wash away the weak? Does love bring happiness? Or does it crush the weak hearted? Sunny skies and windy breeze are all that the world needs But what would life be without the rain? Never to feel tribulation again? Or would it mean that new life won’t begin Or that the world is coming to its end? Does it matter what your hearts desires, When all the pain it burns like fires. Fires of the lonely heart, fires of one torn apart. For seasons come and seasons go But rain the rain will always fall on someone spoiling their day The sun will always shine burning ones life away.
