Right i know its not as important as most the stuff people have asked for help with but im asking for peoples advise anyways. My family doesnt accept what i do or look like from what they see of me and know about me. They hate my piercings and my tattoos and refuse to accept me when i get them or let me get more. Im only home for a few more months but cant risk getting thrown out till then. My problem is that im getting my hair coloured to white with blue in it and they think its only temp when its actually perminant. That and i have piercings and tattoos they dont know off but my brothers threatening to rat me out lol. Any advise how to handle the situation??

honesty. be honest. tell them its your life and body, and you can either love me and support my decisions of what makes me happy, or ur against me. my parents love my tats and piercings. and wen i say im gonna get more they just say to think about it first. but honesty is the key. even if they dont like it.

might work my mum ont mind tats but she only lets us all have one and i have three now lol. its my dad that goes skitz over em he's the one im worried about really

talk to your mom a lone and explain to her ask her if she can break it to youre dad. Just remember it's you who has to be comfortable with your body and not them.

All great advice above and just think a large proportion of parents will be weary of their children getting tattoos and piercings. Parents pfff :]

yea.. i can relate to you.. me and piercings , not till I'm out of the house.. my parent don't mind me getting piercing and or tattoos as long as i don't live there under their roof So my advice to you.. is the same as the others.. but.. on the other hand.. sometimes you just gotta respect what the person who keeps the roof over your head says.. then when you don't have to follow their rules do what you want. that way you play it safe. but not since you have tattoos already I'm thinking the honesty card might have to do the trick unless your brother can keep the secret long enough lol..

Your dad is damn right to be mad at you. You just fucked up your life for next 10 years. Those tatoos and peircings won't just dissapear.. Your dad should throw you out now. You posers don't deserve to live. Go cut yourself and cry yourself to sleep, bitches.
