The Earthquakes have parted the lands and formed seas Seems like many earthquake has parted you and me Go and find your place be your own country But though earthquake parted our land, we share the same sky We can still see eye to eye, we can still give that a try Rain has fallen washed your soil away, time to start over, begin new days But for now your sun will set in the east and mine the west I guess it is for the best No country has stood alone, or fought the biggest battles alone They have tired but they all die Don’t let your self be a fallen solitary nation Form alliances and be a strong nation Rise above the enemies, lies, the and deceit Crush all the fears and nightmares, live and breathe in the fresh air Independence is not simply bought, it is something to be gained , and you won’t feel satisfied till the battle is hard fought Don’t let the dependent say, give up the fight, relax and play But follow the Lord take out a Bible and pray Only alone can u find yourself, but you can only see yourself through a mirror It’s the other people who can give their rear and point of view of you Don’t take to heart what the haters say or let words of criticism leave a mark that will stain Because at the end of the day only you know, what you are capable of, only you and the God above. Stephonz July 25th 2009 © This poem is about a boy and a girl that have decided they need time away so the girl can figure out herself ,because there are many people telling her a lot of things confusing her. The guy is telling the girl that he agrees she needs to have time alone, but also telling her not to let herself be completely alone, she can still have friends, he is assuring her he is still there as well when she needs. He is telling her that other people can give their point of view but only she and the God above know what she is about .. and she needs to be sure of herself
