So, since the middle of this summer, I have been constantly having problems with my family. It all began when we were going to Genova (Italian city) where my dad suddenly freaked out because I had a little make up on (black eyeliner, but it was not more than what a ordinary pop girl would wear) and my mother called me ugly. Since we returned home I have been constantly argueing with them, half of the time they don't know I am there, and the other half I feel like I am Cinderella, I'm treated disturbingly different from how they treat my brothers because I am the quiet one who never complains, honestly, what should I do? Talk to them? It's not like they ever listened before, or should I just bite my tounge and wait one year until I can move out...? I am really at a lost, I've even begun to think if it would be nicer to go back to the most psychopathic girl I ever let into my life...

Well damn just keep to yourself since you don;t have a backbone and then move out in a year. And I did not say that to be offensive but just from reading this it would appear you don't have a backbone. So bite your tongue until it falls out and simply wait until you can move on with your life.

If you don't want to be rude you should find a better way to express yourself, instead of treating the rest of this forum like losers who doesn't even reach you...

I have heard many many people in similar situations mainly from people a bit younger than you though. Loads of people express having big family issues. Try and talk to them and if that doesn't help just think about the freedom you'll have when you move out..

talk it out thats all i have to say doesnt matter if you have backbone one way you talk it out and still live with the problems or dont talk it out and live with the problems and maybe if you do talk it out it may get better

Mine have always been the same, not because I'm the quiet one but because I'm not my stepdad's kid. I'm somehow ruining their happy little family. I'm leaving it, tbh. I'm moving out in about a month. If yours are anything like mine, they think they're not doing anything wrong in calling you ugly (in my case also fat, stupid, useless, etc.) so I doubt you can make them understand. A year isn't that long, beleive me; this asshole has lived with me since I was 7.

i have a remedy o.o Remedy 1. run around ur house screaming 2. then run out side in the rain 3. it has to be rain for this to work 4. scream my parents are assholes 5. then eat ice cream^^
