So the lion fell in love with the lamb, he ate right out of the lamb’s hand What was innocent and sweet wasn’t only an inviting treat. Those innocent eyes and succulent face, all covered up the lamb’s true taste, For beneath the eyes, were years of hate the deceitful face drew in the lambs prey And when he thought the lamb he could conquer He was driven to his grave by his hunger For what we all desire may look woolly white, but we must look farther, and search deep inside. The lamb was once the innocent blood, favored look upon and loved. All a hungry, tired old lion could dream of. But the lion strong and graceful, shaven was his mane Shaven was his mane and now his face was full of shame. Strong, but feeble hearted roar of the broken hearted, the lion cries in desperation. The now fallen king a squire at the lamb’s feet. Now the weak and hungry lion suffered starvation of dissatisfaction. What he thought would replenish his strength broke it The lamb conquered the great beast that tired to stroke it. Often times come that we fall victim to a lamb, The deceitful innocence, bundled in uncertain love. Lies the lamb bleats , never trust all that appeals to the eye Confounded all who listen, never be fooled by the lamb’s weak helpless cry, For what lies deep inside is a creature full of foolish pride. If one sees the lamb, run and hide, its deceitful look will steal your life. Never open your heart and be content with fluffy love Don’t be like the lion, blinded by the appetizing sight Find a true heart, a true comforting love Search deep within your lamb; see through all the fluffy love.
