this may sound stupid to most people but is there actually any such thing as an "emo" ?? every1 isnt the same yet loads of people call themselves "emo" or "chav" or whatever.... every1 is different in their own unique way so why class yourself as one person??? its stupid and quite pointless to be perfectly honest.... i dont know why i wasted my time by saying i was "emo"... im not...no1 is...im just me...your just you...simple as....

As i said b4 yes there is emo and there is such thing but u just need to make the exception between band's and cultre humns etc...

i get wat u mean.. we are all different and unique.. but there are these steriotypes and groups of different ppl cus we all hav something in commen be it music types, style the way we look at life... thats why we call ourselves emo or goth etc... but we are all unique..

^ so true i was explaining the same thing to my old man people in certain subcultures have similar interest and like similar styles.. but it doesn't make you anymore less of an individual it is true that some persons act fake to fit into certain stereotypes.. but that is their foolish decision

Heya I've said this before but I'll say it again... Even though most people on here call themseleves emo it would be better to say your into the emo scene as it makes more sense.

Vybz : um.. u cud say i'm into the emo scene i must add that i say this because i do not agree with the stereotypical personality people associate " emos" with ( such as depressed suicidal etc) i simply have a love for "emo" music and deep( for lack of a better word) poetry

^ i cant even escape just being in a religon -_- everyone is sterotyping everything Because i am a Christian people been calling me a Christcore kid -- which according to Urban Dictionary is a person, usually a teenager, who is a hardcore christian and/or straight edge may be known by the following: -listens to hardcore christian bands -preaches the word of GOD openly -may dress emo or scene <a href="http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=christcore%20kid">

I wrote this poem / or w/e it is when I was ¾ a sleep lol. It is just some thoughts which were flowing through my head. See Me Behind the black is a broken heart I am not darkness, but shame. I have to do the amen thing... Even though some of us think calling yourself emo is silly we have probably all done it at some point. I know I have. As mentioned above "everyone is sterotyping everything". AMEN!
