This is truly a terrible incident and i pray that my Caribbean Neighbours will be able to recover and that the efforts to help Haiti will be successful. Haiti paved th eway to independence to the other colonies in the Caribbean by become the first independnet colony in the Caribbean. Since then they had a lot of struggles and have not been able to over come them. If one knows their history one can better relate to their current situation.
