This poem is inspired by.... I'll leave you to figure that out. One of the first poems I have written in a long time, Enjoy! Fake Tears The fatigued tears roll down my cheek (1 ) All my nights seem dull and bleak. I lay my self down to sleep, Thinking thoughts that were buried deep. Thoughts of sorrow, thoughts of shame, thoughts of losing my own name, All the sorrow all the shame, crashing down, causing pain. Do I fight? Or die in vain. What’s worth the struggle? What is there to gain? Will I ever smile again? Permanent sorrows rack my brain. Unfound cure, save my life! Revive my soul from hellfire’s strife! Take my heart, use a knife! Carve it out, maybe dice! Segregate the melancholic pains! Revive my life, my lion’s mane! Make me but a man again! Instead of a mouse that squeals in vain. Crying in the silent night, I yawn I try I try with might. But the tears do not shed I feel apathetic, emotionally dead. Infidel to the love bed My heart does not beat, heart attack I dread But Cardiac arrest won’t take my life, I’ll rise to glory, find my pride. Look for that which I must try Search the world until I die. Till I find the one with whom I can lie. It might be near it might be far, But I don’t care I’ll search for my heart, Instead of weeping, in the dark… Stephonz January 17th, 2010 © (1 ) (refers to tears formed when one yawns)

^ thx for the feedback guys The second verse was supposed to be the most powerful verse. (Hence the "!" ) glad you guys particularly liked that verse :) and cutemo, I write all of my poems to a beat, i kind of sing- write them. I can only try to get better, and college helps me to improve my poetry since I study literature.
