well i've noticed lately i'v been attracted to both sexes, i need help to see if i really am. the only problem if i do end up going that way is that, my family is very clone like, if your not like them they hate you. they don't like different religions/beleifs,races/ethnicites, homos/BIs and different cultures and styles. like me and my lil sister are the only different ones in my family, everyone else is alike. i'm afraid that if i really am BI and they find out they'll hate me or disown me. i mean they won't let me do anything i want to do, i can't dye my hair dramatic colors or all black, i can't get anything peirced but my ears, i can barely wear what i wanna wear, i can't have tattoos when i'm older if i still live with them, and i can't have a boyfriend till i'm out of college....its not right.

Well, you are really the only person who can find out. Some people have "girl/boy crushes" but aren't bi/gay/lesbian. It's like admiring that person a hell of a lot. The only way you can find out it is trying to act on those feelings and see if it feels right/wrong. As for the parent issue, you can either not tell them, not date girls or try and tell them. A lot of people have the parent issue. You can try and show them you are independent and try and get them to respect that but you'll have to start small. Or, do what you want and make them feel like they are in control over the actions, even though they aren't. Eg. Talk about getting something pierced and take them to where you want it done and ask if they like it, if not ask them to suggest another place. Worked for me ;)

i cant say my family r the same, cos theyre not. my grandparents on the other hand are totally the same, they say piercings are abusing yourself just the same as tattoos. i can say im Bi cos i have felt atracted to both sometimes ... thats why i have more guy friends i guess i can relate when they say some girls hot lol :) anywaay if your bi dont be afraid to be it dont be afraid to be who you are ive always been alternative i was goth then punk now im emo!! but i went through a faze of being girly and thats who people think i am, so i get critisized for "changing" when really i havnt so what im trying to sayy is .. just dont be afraid. Be who you are and be proud of it :D :D hope this helped at least a little bit :)

ok this is the worse case senario but my friends buddy James is gay he told his dad and instead of his dad disowning him he beats him on the hour i guess thinking it could make him straight and James loves his dad so much that he refuses to report him. One day at school in front of everyone James asked him boyfriend to marry him right after school that day they got married James however got "lucky" and didn't have to tell his dad because later on that night him and his husband got divoriced because James thought his partner was cheating on him. If he had stayed married and told his dad he would probally have been dead about the bi thing... I am actually debating this too. My bi friends say that I'm bi-curious but if I ever experimented and found out I was bi then I would NEVER tell my parents because they joke harshly about homosexuals alot

yea i know, my parents tend to joke on homos and BIs too. to tell you the truth i'm surprised i'm the way i am with such prejudice family members. but maybe i am, cause i like boys but i'm a guys girl, i end up hangin with them instead of dating them. and i tend to look at girls but i also look at boys, and its not just one girl its like any girl i think is hot or pretty, then again it might just be me wishing i looked like them because....i'm so not pretty, so it might by envy.

yes you are and OMG dude you really sound like me... I have more guy friends than I do true chick friends I'm the sporty one and so when my guy friends talk about girls they are like oh well most girls in the school are bi so it doesn't matter im just surprised that you haven't jumped into the coversation yet. then we have fights about how im not bi... lol they say that if i were id be the perfect girl but they wont date me because im EXTREMLY aggressive :D

lol yea i have way more guy friends than girls, i was a tomboy as a kid. while 5 yr old girls were playin with barbie i had spiderman action figures, and the girls on the playground would be playing house i'd be playing pokemon and ninja warriors with my two best guy buddies lol.

lol i played this weird vampire game w/ my ex... and i wasn't a tomboy cuz i did do cheer and stuff in elm school and was a major prep but I also never played barbies unless i was forcing my brother :D that was funny cuz then my step dad would walk in and call him shannee (his real name is shane)

just a side note. if you believe the scientists.. being straight or gay is down to a different balance of certain chemicals in your brain. being openly gay or straight is down to the environment you live in. being bi however is usually down to having the gay arrangement of chemicals and pressure from your environment to be straight. i think that is an interesting fact. well not really a fact, just what my mates doing human bio tell me.

wow thomis that makes tons of sense because in an enviroment where most people around here are bi that makes tons of sense.... but yes wow I love you right now Thomis because something that was said to me today actually made sense!!!

I have the same thing going on. The family and the whole society perspective about it, it is absolutely banned around here. It's even called an "illegal moralistic issue" !! And frankly, I was wondering about the same thing as well, and eventually I realized that I am! ( I hear this phrase "are you sure you are a female?!" quiet often! lol) & I really believe that it is a matter of brain chemicals issue; as Thomis has mentioned. However, I try so hard not to let these feelings affects my actions. I'm kind of a "traditional girl" & I try my best to follow my society's culture & traditions. I really don't encourage homosexuality but I don't despise or humiliate people who are (unlike my family and society) By the way, Great Info, Thomis! (I didn't know about this scientific "statement" but I really had a feeling before that it has something to do with body fluids!! )

im bi and i told my friends and my mom thats it. my dad is extremly racist sexist and pregitisit against anyone really. and at my school its shunned so i didnt tell a whole lot of people. but i think you should tell your closest friends and thats it. the thing thomis and matt were talking bout is really interesting i didnt know about that

lol right now my friend Sammi is preaching to me about how i need to go back to being christian and about gays... i told her what Thomis said and she was like what idiot told you that, that is the biggest load of crap i have ever heard lol she is a crack up (: (she is one of those that think it is a sin to be homosexual)
