FREAKS!!! Jul 08 2010, 09:23 AM

I walk through the doors at school everyone stops and stares at me. They stare like they came to school to see a show(me). Its not just school its at stores, shops,pretty much everywhere. They yell out Freak, Hey look everybody its the freak show. Just because we are differant does it make us freaks. Are we the bad guys? Should we really be called names cause of who we are? No we shouldnt. The preps and Jocks are freaks to us but do we go yelling it outloud no we dont. We can be rude but thats not all of our reputation. We can be nice too cant we? At least we arnt afraid to let out our inner feelings by harming or crying or writing depressing or screamo songs. We dont bury our emotions in glitzy outfits and money to blow. If i had money i would go to hot topic instead of designer outlets. We may be differant but we are not freaks we are people. They are the real FREAKS!!!!!!

So true. It's the same here. In school, people scream things at me. I could be wearing the most plain, boring clothes ever and still I get called emo and get accused of selfharming just 'cause I have pnk hair. I do selfharm but that is not the point. They don't know that. And they also don't know the shit we go through or the things/people we've lost. My friends have been chased with knives. I've been chased with bricks. All because we look a bit different, wear dark or non-mainstream clothes, have odd bright or even black hair, listen to different music and express ourselves in different ways. Just because I have pink hair, piercings and tattoos does not mean I'm any different from anyone else. I like living this way. It's mainly to do with the way I was brought up. None of us choose to be who we are, it just happens.
