She was the one sitting in the corner All alone hiding her shameful face from the rest of the world Her life almost gone time is slipping from her bony little fingers Tears running down a pale face Staining her shirt red from all the pain she has suffered her body can't take much more with tattered clothes and a broken heart she holds tight she holds tight to insanity the only thing keeping her sane her heart can't take the cold it can't take the hate too much false love it's nothing to celebrate she holds that fake smile well and the world carries on but inside she feels hollow not quite right inside something strange beating in her chest in her hearts place she fears of never loving again at that hollow fake heart in her chest what a bad excuse of a heart that has replaced her broken one it does nothing it loves nothing it just sits there but she fights to try to fix her heart to fit it back in place she stumbles and falls and gets back up again she fights pain and keeps on going through shameful eyes show insanity but a stable soul fighting against life for a broken heart so many against her pushing her down even her true love the one who tore her heart in two and walked away like nothing happened such a heartless fool to give up a beauty like that though she doesn't see that beauty within herself, she is beautiful but doubt fills all reason coated with lies from the jealous and cowardly tha ones who think they're above everyone bringing dow the weak without a thought to it bringing down the brokenhearted like she who will never be like them even in her insanity she will not stoop so low even in the losing battle she will not give up fighting for all of them the brokenhearted
