Hey guys, Is it okay for an emo to have short wavy hair??

Yeah its fine. Emo is realy whats inside of you. Not just how you look. hahah look at me! I have realy curlyhair and at times I can pull it off as a cute emo style. So yeah, if you dont like your hair, theres always a flat iron that can help. well. . . i hope that helps. . .

It doesn't acutally matter what your hair is like, people always assume it because the hair generally comes with the style. I'd love to have curly hair but mine just goes kinky and flicky. I use straighteners everyday.

Wavy hair is cool and you can be into the emo scene whatever your hair is like. The music came before the fashion and is the most important part of the emo scene.

Yeah i think it is okay. I have very curly hair and i just mousse it up and straighten my fringe/bangs. It doesn't really look much like an emo hairstyle though.. oops.

My hair is... well I dunno what to consider my hair. It is a mix between curly wavy and straight.... It looks really ugly and nappy when I do nothing to it so I have to straighten it

ahh yeah my hair used to be like that. My hair used to be so straight too. But the more i cut it the more curly it becomes :( grrr.

because your hair gets heavier... lol today my hair is one side wavy straight fringe and the rest is curly... and for once the curls are REALLY cute

but guys, using straightening iron weakens your hair, doesn't it?? My hair gets very dry easily so I do not use a straightener.

Excess use without any protection cream could weaken your hair. Straighteners haven't made my hair any drier. Different shampoo's can have a great affect though. One made my hair real dry.

My hair is really Curly >.< but i use CHI and it protects my hair when i straighten it(: Yay for non-damiged hair

I personally think it doesn't matter if your hair's curly or not. Make it unique. If you really are worried then dye it a different colour like red or plum (':

You can always use a flat iron and grow it long.
