Those friends you had when you were little, And you thought that they were true. Those friends you had before you went, And you thought that they were there. Those things you thought I said were true, And you believed them through and through. Those things you said to me to you, And you thought that they were true. Those times we skipped hand in hand, And you laughed along with me. Those times we stayed up all night long, And you thought that they were true. Those days we fought and bitched to each other, And I no longer believed you. Those days when silences stretched out forever, And I no longer saw you. Those friends you had when you were little, And you thought that they were true. Those friends you had before you left, And now I am no longer here.
