It was my lonely summer, That made me realise. How much I miss you all, How much I really care. I left feeling bitter, Resenting all those who asked - "Are you ok?", "Do you want to talk?", Because I really didn't care. And so I sit here now, Taking everything in. All those feelings I thought I never had, Just come spilling over the brim. I guess I just needed to see, I needed to feel what was inside. I needed reach down deep within, And let all of those feelings outside. So, even though they may be dark, Even though I may be delicate. I need to let you see, How I really look inside. So, please don't cover your eyes, Turn away or pretend not to see. You need to see as much as I need to show, And maybe then we'll see what we know.
