So, every stereotype (mostly Scene and Emo though) have their "posers". Honestly, I'm curious because most of the definitions of one are BS. What's your definition of a "poser"? They used to be anyone bright and happy (but now that's considered Scene), anyone who cut, anyone who didn't follow the clothing style, ect. Personally, I don't think that is even close anymore. It kinda makes me sad seeing all the little 9-10 year olds walking around saying, "Oh, I'm so emo. I hate my life. I'm going to kill myself. Blah blah blah" just because that's what they think emo is. Emo isn't a style, but a way of life. Many before me have said that but it's true. So, back to my real question. What's your definition of a "poser"?

In my oponion, a poser is simply anyone who pretends, to be something there not. That's my main definition. I'm not totally outcasting a few "sub-definitions" like let's say the poser was trying to be emo, they would almost certainly dress like your stereotypical emo. But then again, it may just be a person who has a thing for the emo style, as apposed to a ravages and forgotten, insecure and insignificant soul pleading for everyone to acknowledge them as something there not. Be nice to posers, people. I know they might give you a hard time, but being the only people they look up to will give you the opportunity to show them that To betruly accepted you must try to gain acceptance for yourslef, not who your pretending to be :)
