I'd like to talk about my life Sep 02 2010, 10:50 AM

ive had a rough few weeks at uni. losing motivation and questioning my reasons for being there. im studying so i have something to fall back on when i fail at becoming a rockstar.. but i dont wanna wait to get my degree when all my best years are passing by so quick. i just moved out of home this year, my parents marriage is on the rocks, mum is in england and dad is here. dad just had triple bipass surgery and i had to say goodbye to him like i would never see him again, that is a scary experience. made me think about life and what im doing. my instincts are telling me that right now im living the wrong life. i just dont fit. i feel like a eagle in a chicken coop. i need to change something, i dont know what. a few ppl ive met on here are making me feel like i wanna go to the uk to visit them. maybe sorta start my life over. roll the dice. know what im sayin? i have an ok life here, i have a house and a job and a small collection of really good friends. but still i feel. out of place? i dunno maybe its because its pushing 3 am but it just seems like there is so much more i could be doing then just going to uni, going to work, going to sleep and repeat. no matter who im with, i feel lonely. i dont think people get me. they like me, they are kind to me, but they just dont getwhat im about. i need to change. thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

awww *tear I am here for you (doubt you care because you don't talk to me anymore) but I love you and I think you should persue your rockstar career... start with youtube and I don't know about the UK but maybe you should go and atleast visit them just don't get to depressed because I have been there and that sucks

A big change like moving to the UK could be the best decision you ever make or a mistake. That's all I can say really. It's up to you...

i do care nikki, but no i wont be a youtube rockstar, i wanna be a real one and there are better avenues. well a big change is what im looking for. but umm since my mum went to england and so is my sister, then if i leave here dad will have no family left so i dont wanna do that to him straight after his operation. damn! life should be simpler!

^^I agree just wait it out for a few and keep at the rockstar life and just see where it takes you... maybe get some advise from a few bands that are started out like opening up for big time bands and see how they did it

I know the feelin.. My dream's to be in a band too..and Ive had the feeling of wanting to live my life all over again..start it alll over again..without mistakes and regrets I get this feeling running in circles..comin n goin comin n goin xD But I dont think alot about it..,Dont be so hopeless (:..maybe oneday ur dream will come true (:..and you'll be a rockstar and all of us will watch you on tv :D..or outside!! and we'll listen to ur music :D..I hope it comes true for u ,cz i know the feeling xD,my dreams the same =)..gd luck :)

sorry to hear bout your mum and dad and hope your dad recovers someone closs to me had one like matt say uv got to make your mind up your self. but personally if i was u i would finish uni iv not been there yet but i carnt wait till i do so dont wash your chance away. as for coing to the uk u will see ya mum but can u live here without seeing your dad for so long. if u do come here i hope i could come say hi :) hahaha lol one more thing the uks not all it spook to be like
