Things are so hard and hurt too much I just long for her loving touch I miss the way she used to be If only my love she could see It pains me to be the way we are I thought we could make it more than this far Times are harder than ever before But she is still the woman I did adore At night some times she's who I remember It's just another repeat of September Each time we speak I get scared I thought forever we'd be paired What went wrong in our lives When she speaks it's daggers and knives It's not just us who are affected by this But my feelings she are quick to dismiss I need my girl who I once knew Tell me now what can I do
