It hurts more than you know You see years ago My love I wasn't afraid to show Now the pieces you broke me into So much I'm scared to go through No longer I know what to do You destroyed my life Plunged in the knife Just like deaths scyth Don't waste your time on me There's no future I can see I don't care what I can be I've never told a lie If that makes me a lier Be it your desire I was your chance to get out of that town But you turned around and let me down All that's left on my face is a frown I ask you to stay awake You turn and call me a fake Leaving me in my heart ache I'm as cold as the clouds of your breath You gave me nothing but stress Even after I gave you my best
