okay there is this 8th gr. boy [who is also emo] back in aug. during the first couple days of school i ran into him then again during sep. while leaving detention...then on thursday i was turning to the gates and saw him standing there waiting for them to open so i stood there too & after a couple awkward moments he spoke up n said hey so i shyly said hi n waved a lil after tht it went back to silence. what weird is i've never seen him talk to anyone at school before [that i know of besides the teacherz maybe] but me...i want your opinion...just a coincidance i keep running into him or sum sort of sign??? also next time i see him should I be the one to start a conversation with him??? Also do you think he said hey to be nice or to talk with me but was too shy to??? I know this aint a serious SERIOUS topic but im desperate for sum answerz opinionz & advice.!

well you sound about like my sister... she is dating an emo kid that I have never seen talk at school either and apparently they talk whenever no one is around... which I wittnessed this weekend... but i say talk to him when you see him and just try what you can (: good luck

i say he probably does want to talk more to you but is too shy which in a way is a good sign it means he probs likes you and doesnt want to say anything stupid, i think you should defo start up a convo with him, then as soon as you act confident he should come out of his shell and be more confident too, emo boys probs do keep themselves to themselves cause of what i know they dont really trust many people, but let you be the person he can trust and you never know what may happen...good luck :)
