First off let me say Happy Halloween (: lol second off we got report cards friday and these were my grades: Theater- 96, French- 98, English- 89, World Geography- 87, Biology- 90, Algebra- 90, Soccer- 100 My mom let me have a friend over this weekend and then today after she left she yelled at me and said that if my grades didn't get pulled up that I am going to be grounded for a semester??? My mom has never pushes being an A student on anyone in the family sooo why would she start now with just me??? yeah I plan on going to college and stuff like that but thats the best my grades have been in FOREVER I think I'm doing pretty good and that she needs to chill. Your opinion??

i agree she shouldnt punish you for that..if i got those grades my mom would have a heart attack (literally)

lol thanks. Even my dad was like wow, I didn't tell him what my mom said but idk... and I actually see where she is coming from because she wants to push me to be the best I can, but I don't see why she is only doing it to me... I find it kind of fucked up

I think its because she sees that you have the potential to be better if you're on the edge of getting all 90+s. Punishing you is definitely not the way to go about getting the message accross, however. ...I must say soccer is very impressive O_O /cannot play sports at all.

lol I'm just goalie... and the only way our grade gets dropped in soccer is if we don't dress out and since the only reason i even go to school anymore is for soccer, which my whole family is trying to convince me to quit lol but oh well
