another poem by anonymous In these four walls I stay locked up all day and night, I remain in constant darkness, afraid of the light, For fear it will expose the part of me I've hidden away, Things will never get better, I dont give a fuck what you say, Sure I love those close to me, but I just dont belong, Though I try, everything I end up doing is wrong, When did I get this way, when I learned how my mom died, Or when I decided it was my fault, did i decide to hide, In music I find comfort, and in a knife a friend, I drink my problems away, following the family trend, I'm alive yet in so many ways dead, Lifes ocean waves of pain I cannot tread, I give into a guy I care nothing about, So many times I've thrown away hope and given into doubt, To a false sense of happiness I was drawn, Now its too late to turn back I'm too far gone, Everyday I find it harder to survive, and everyday I wish I weren't alive
