what happened to Attack Attack! Dec 27 2010, 01:47 AM
I heard of attack attack! back in 08' and i was able to see them at the 09' warped tour with their original screamer Austin Carlile, they were really sick i loved it. i was sad to hear tho that shortly after he had left the band and the keyboardist Caleb Shomo would be taking over as the frontman and screamer. i'v seen them live a couple times sense with caleb fronting the band but i don't think that he's as good of a performer as Austin. he does sound pretty brutal on the self titled album tho i'll give him that, but live he can't reproduce, its kinda weak. And now i just heard that their original singer Johnny Franck has just left the band in the middle of their last tour. i don't know whats going to happen to this band.

Good question I have seen them live before and hope they don't just fade away!

I never really listened to Attack Attack that much... I mean one of my favorite songs is by them but I didn't really ever listen well enough to compare notes... however from what I have heard it would be a damn shame to see them fade away, and I'd hate for it to happen

After Austin Carlile left the band, he was the one who started Of Mice & Men and ended up having to part ways with the band because of some health issues. He's Starting a new project and rise records put up a couple video blogs on their youtube page. i'm a big Carlile he's worth keeping an eye out for, i feel his new band is going to be really sick.
