I'm not a good flirter... Its like, I know exactly what to do... but as far as actually doing it, its like I lose all of my confidence and I don't know how to go about doing the things I know I should do... Ahh I hate my crappy social skills!! D: Ok, so like, I can flirt over text just fine. Thats easy. But as far as making the first move... I'm the quiet girl when it comes to liking a guy. I kinda hide and blush and secretly watch him out of the corners of my eyes... I won't talk unless he talks to me first. And when I do... I make myself look like a stumbling idiot. Trust me. K, so my fam had this party. And this dude I had a huggggee crush on was there. He and his bro were just sitting down, cuz they didn't really know anybody. So, my friends force me over there. This is my lame-o pickup line: "Do y'all want something to drink?" (and I said it all shy-like with a small smile and I most likely was blushing) But he DID smile at me with that crazy killer smile of his, like he thought I was cute. And he DID notice me glancing at him every now and then. And he DID say I had made his day. And he DID check me out, and message me over Facebook after the party. And I DID get his number. And we DID text... But then something happened and the loser quit texting me. This is my problem: I don't talk enough in person, but when I'm WRITING every little thought in my brain comes spilling out and i end up talking too much. See??? This is already super long.

This shy side of you is probably coming from a fear that he won't like you if you act like yourself, under that thought just know that he's not worth your time if he doesn't like you for the person you are and it wouldn't have worked anyhow. As time goes on you'll become less shy and feel more confident speaking with them in person. I once was similar to you. It's cute, I wish I knew how sweet innocence like that is when I was victim of it.

Heyaa, I'm in need of advice in this area!! My issue is, even though people tell me I'm sorta pretty that guys are never interested. I seem to be forever cast as frend lol :D. I suppose I need advice on how to meet guys and find out if they're interested - my last bf wasn't the nicest of guys to me and I was so into him I did all the chasing and even accepted him saying I was fatter and not as pretty as this other girl he really wanted but as she wasn't interested that I'd suffice. (Ohh, if I could go back in time) I don't want to get myself into situations like that where I'm second best but the field of love and relationships baffles me. Help would be appreciated ^_^ xx
