Ashes fall from the sky The sun cries.. Clouds are lighted red The bloodshed of earth Has risen Up To the heavens… RUN! RUN! As the eclipse shadows the moon The sun’s revenge is near The dead seek salvation in their graves The old man quivers The young stand in awe It never was supposed to end like this… Flowers wilt and bow to the wind; The howling ghost of anguish. The seas roar rage and revolt Unbending waves attack the shore All are taken in- To the deep The whirlpool takes them to their watery graves.. Natures revolt ravished the rebelling nations Man has paid plenty.. Nature’s indignation has left the earth empty. lol you're too kind Karin. thx sis :) I realized that you are becoming lost for words indeed Matt. I remember in a comment on poem you just posted * Smiles* :P. It is great to see a lot of poetry being posted on here. The poetry that this site produces is of a good standard!
