Is it just me or do moms naturally know how to emmbarass their kids? I was in wal-mart the other day with my mom and she ran into an old friend of hers, when there talking she just blurts out in the middle of wal-mart "did I tell you I have an emo child?" then shows her my black hair and my clothes and tells her I want a lip ring again :/ and there was a cute boy near me too.

yeah my mom does it to me T_T like she knows that one of her friends has a big mouth and once she knows something she will tell EVERYBODY..so know what she does? she tells her that i overdosed and then we saw one of her friends in walmart and my mom made me show her friend my arm that looks like a massacre happened on it yeah moms are good at embarrassing you :/

yea and one time my mom was telling a friend of hers about me and my sister and she was like "yea these two are like night and day..and you can tell which one is night." and then grabbed a peice of my black hair :/

my mom does the samething thing to me and my step dad pretty much hate me because of it. i feel like i cant be myself and express who i really am! :( but i normally ignor them

Yeahhh, my mom does this thing were she goes "Mmm, yeah. She's an 'emo kid'" (Finger quotes) And then roles her eyes and smiles. I blush and get all embarrased. And I'm pretty hard to embarrass. It's like, 'Thanks mom for putting me into a box and disowning all my uniqueness.' I know she doesn't mean it though. Heck, she's the one that got me into all this. She's like, a fairy gothmother for Christ's sake! My whole family is a bunch of alternatives...Even my Grandmother! But she kinda grew out of the GOTH stuff, now it's mostly she looks a bit like a vampire...But she can't help it. She has natural black wavy hair and wears red lipstick...

yea i'm pretty much alone in my family, I have gothic cousins in new orleans but we don't contact eachother at all except christmas cards. I think my mom just doesn't want me meeting them because they're different from the family like me. but I will meet them, I stole this year's christmas card from my fam so I could keep the adress and send them a letter or something.

I just realized how legit my mom is (: I got grounded from my laptop for two months earlier today... five minutes later my mom was like heres your laptop sorry i got mad... sooo her coolness like cancels out her embarrassing things xD

Next time she embarrass you, you should think of all the kids with drug addict, alcoholic and/or abusive parents, ill parents, mentally ill parents, no parents, then you'll love them.. Just a thought. :)

haha i know how you feel just the other day my mom and i went to wallgreens to get tampons because you know us girls and our "bestfriend" haha well she grabbed that and granny panties (ewh) looked at me and said here baby cakes the have skulls on them do you think they will fit? and there was this cute guy black hair septum and snakbite laughing his ass off at us D: it was an FML moment

lol Kayla XD that sounds like something my mom would do. and to the other girl(I hit reply before I saw your username) yea no matter how much she embarrasses me I know its better than not having a mom at all or a diff one, the things she does I don't agree with and sometimes I get mad at her but at the end of the day, I wouldn't have a different mom.

Once I was in Primark, my mom and me were shopping for my b-day. And she went off on her own to get something, obviously my b-day present. And I was looking at the white long tops with hearts on them (really emoish) and got talking to this guy. Then my mum came up...She showed me this awful cardigan but IN FRICKING BALLERINA PINK! This guy laughed his fucking ass off -.-' I will never forgive my mum ;P My face when she showed me, I'm lucky she diden't buy it! o.O
