A lot of things happened between me and my ex... I really don't want to try and explain but I really want to forget, I didn't think I could ever love again but I've found someone who makes me smile again, someone I can trust and who feels the same back for me. I can't stop thinking about what happened though, what we had and how she broke my heart and stole everything away from me... Very few of you will know what happened but I need help to move on. I can't forgive like I thoughgt I could.

Hm.. well be strong well.. i respect that u want to keep things private .. well.. keep thinking of the positive things in life.. things to look forward with that someone u like now :) think of all the nice things u guys will do together :) .. and if u feel sad then write down your feelings or draw something and then maybe throw it away and be determined to think what i just throw away is from the past and what i will do from now and on .. is to think of a bright and positive future full of love and happiness :) x

Well you didn't think you would find someone who could make you smile again and you have, so I'm sure you'll overcome your other issues as well in time.

I totally agree with the above. I don't know what's happened but, there's just got to be a point in your life where you have to make a conscious decision to let go of it. You have to take a deep breath and imagine all the things that you remember and make you sad and imagine breathing it all out. Expel it from your life, because it's poison! It's making you stop living life. I can see you might be afraid to get close to this new person who makes you smile and happy. I'm not saying forget everything, you should remember the good times and the lessons you might have learned. But take it from me, you don't want one person to rule the rest of your life.

Thank you. I'm meeting up with this "new girl" Saturday so I'm hoping that will help. So fed up of my mind and over thinking EVERYTHING...

Let us know how it goes. I have met up with some girls since my breakup, but haven't found anyone 'special' yet. The girl I really want to meet is playing hard to get... It all comes down to making the effort and following your dreams.

We're planning on going to the cinema in Cardiff so it should at least be a much welcomed break even if things don't go further. I will Matt. Thanks for all your help.

We met up today and it was amazing! We got really close and talked about each of us (as usual fitted in a union rant) and she really likes me still... We're together now and it's working out :) She sees everything in me i see in her. I don't have the doubts I had with previous relationships!
