Okay, so I have a friend and schoolmate and also service mate that has a crush on me. One time on Facebook, we talked and chat there and then I was shocked when he asked me if he can be my boyfriend. What should I say? He's my friend and I don't wanna disappoint him and I don't want him to be mad at me :( Besides, I'm not comfortable if there's somebody who's not talking to me. Any advices for this?

Well, do wht u feel lyk doin.. If u dont think it'd work out, prob might not b best idea.. But if u 2 dont talk on reg basis, prob not good ta start... But u 2 shud still b friends.. And get him ta understand tht..

I went out with someone who I never liked but I had to because I diden't want to hurt his feelings, he was madly in love so yeah..And all the time I was thinking: What the hell have I got myself into?! I dreaded tomorrow, I started getting really depressed then my mum came to the rescue, she said to him that she diden't want him to go out with me cos' he was making me depressed. But never go out with someone you don't fancy...

OHGAWD do not go out with somebody you like! A very similar thing happened to me via text two years ago and it sucked. I did it out of pity, he was nerdy and all. It was a terrible year long relationship, and I totally liked this other dude and he was AVAILABLE and now that me and my ex-friend/boyfriend are broken up (hateful story, too. Ended terribly) he is not within my grasp! I shoulda went for him and be honest to myself. Now I'm kickin' myself for it! And I found out my friend was an arse anyways. So yeah. He totally cheated on me, and as a friend I was hurt. :( Whatever. JERK. Okay I'm done. So if you don't like him, let him down gently and say NO.

Yes don't get involved just to be 'nice'. Tell him he isn't really your type for a partner. I'm sure he'll get the message and won't want to lose your friendship.

Thanks for those awesome advices :) But yes, as we all know, it's Valentine's Day today.. So, after school he gave me a rose and yes, just to make him happy, I accepted it. And then, later on.. I feel like I'm just making him wait and wait even though what he want is not going to happen. Anyway, he's so slow, I messaged him on FB a lot of times pointing that I don't like to have a boyfriend or I don't like him and here he comes again, asking me if he still have a chance. And I was like? hello? :D Maybe he noticed that I'm kinda annoyed at him and then he asked me "Are you mad?" and of course I said "No? I'm sure I'm not mad at you" so again and again, he asked me if he still have a chance, I said straight to the point "No, you don't have a chance" then he said "Even in your 2nd year HS?" i said "Yes? of course! Even on my 3rd and 4th, you don't have a chance" then he's kind of pissed when I said that. I just want to tell him anything I want to say, is that wrong? That I acted like that to him? :|
