Stop and stare at the life infront of you Stop and take in the air Listen to the birds singing They can take you there Stop and stare and the people in the street Laughing and loving The people they meet The brught faces the people having fun Everyone is starting But he is done. Lying in a hospital bed death is in his eyes I kiss his head and smile sing him a lullaby his eyes begin to close his breath begins to shorten The angels start to sing and take him to the Heavens.

This made me want to cry...... It reminded me of when I watched my grandmother dying... The day of her funeral was as beautiful as what you described. The whole experience left a gaping hole in my heart... And I am touched by this poem because I feel like I share those feelings. My grandmother was the ultimate example of love. She was the most loving person I ever knew. When she left, I was torn. I still cry for her, and its been 3 years. I'll never get over it
