As I watch you dying I hold back the urge to cry I don’t want to live without you Though I did most my life You were important in my life Even though you never seemed to care And I know you loved me You just didn’t know how to show it Sometimes I didn’t want to admit That I loved you Because no one else seemed to I know feel horrible for ever wanting to not love you Now I’m alone in your room with you Grandpa, Papu I only came in to get your glasses for Mom I’ll miss you forever I don’t care what they say All the crying And all the pain Has finally caught up to me You made me cry In front of family I can’t believe you just left me Why Papu… Why did you have to die? Why did you have to leave us? I didn’t get to spend enough time with you. You didn’t get to spend enough time with me. And now that we’re leaving your room for good I’ll turn and for the last time say “Bye, Papu.”

Thanks for the good feedback. My Papu actually died a while ago. It's been almost a year since he passed. I haven't really shown much of my family that I'm still in a lot of pain...

I completely understand... My grandmother passed away 3 years ago, I feel the same way about it, except if anyone was the image of love, it was her. Her death left me devastated, I haven't been the same since... And I can't talk to my family about it, every time I talk about her I start to cry
