homophobia in school works Feb 14 2011, 10:09 AM

So I was doing a group work for school about sexuality for teenagers, and we were searching images, and then it comes up an image about how HIV can be transmited and in that image says " Homosexual realations" and I'm like WHAT THE FUCK?. HIV can be transmited by homosexual relations if you don't weare a condom, but that happens in straght relations as well. So i said to my friends that they should put "any sexual relation ( gay or straight) " and thay didn't. they agreed in puting that on the work. Seriasly, I was shoked. I guees you don't really know how a person thinks until they're confronted with questions like this. Don't you think I have a point?

well im not sure on this but maybe its the fact that in gay sex...birth control such as condoms arent high on there mind soo the chance of aids is higher... though with awareness im sure its gotten better. But with like with straight sex relations its more of a nessecity to wear condoms and stuff.. but yea some straight still pass it on but i dont think its statistical as high as with gays.

What a bunch of jerks! I do agree with both post above, also. Maybe they were just being wierd and didn't want to put it on to avoid conflicts with views?
