I don't know what you pay for...? If you pay for Internet I might be able to suggest "good" cheaper ones. Do you actually have any sort of budget/plan?

Well, I'm not very good with saving money myself. But in Norway the big money savers are electricity and food. Finding a cheap electricity provider can save you alot of money (given it's not included in rent or something). And shopping food wisely, not buy more then you eat and usually making dinners from bottom up gives a good value. Internet and mobiles also can save you alot of money, tho this I kinda don't have to think about, so I haven't really given it much concern myself :p

For those who live in the UK the cheapest standalone broadband is PlusNet but another good ISP (especially if you an O2 customer) is O2 broadband (ONLY if you live in an area where the exchange has LLU). ** update ** O2 increasing the prices so ignore O2!!

The cheapest UK mobile tariff is Asda Mobile (works on Vodafone network) 8p/minute to mobile or landline and 4p/text to any mobile. If you want to use GPRS internet it is 20p/MB. Alternatively Tesco Mobile Lite tarrif (works on O2 network). It is the same but GPRS is £4/MB but will decrease to 60p/MB later February. If you get shouted at by the bill payer because you've made numerous expensive mobile phone calls from the landline then you'd be better off using an overide 0877 number. They cost from 7p a minute. If you use the landline after 7pm then you better off just using BT. Full info here :- http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/ukcallchecker/

Hmm well every time you get change, put it in a jar or something, and keep saving that up. Especially quarters! Or you could (like me) use separate jars for pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters... u get my drift. Or, the old fashioned way... either buy stuff cheap, or don't buy at all! :)

Yeahh, ebay's a definite winner, for both buying and selling :L though I also recommend buying clothes in sales too, but never buy anything that you're not 100% sure you'll still be wearing in a year's time XD You can also find some ways of making a bit of extra money from the internet. I often do online surveys, which is a great way of earning vouchers, but I don't know if they do this outside of the UK or not.

@DizzDotRocks: What sites do you get on to do those? Do you think they'd pay in American money? O.o

I use Dubit Informer and GFK primarily, but I'm pretty sure both only pay out in GBP... gis a sec, I'll search for some American sites. *After looking* http://www.surveybounty.com/usa-teens.html That site looks all good, obviously haven't used it myself, but it recommends several different sites, 2 of which I've heard of (Valued Opinions and Springboard, which has a UK version and I HAVE used myself), so I'd say check that out :)

No probs :) also, another thing I thought of, if you see that somewhere is selling a product you use regularly on an offer, stock up on it! It'll save you money in the long run!
