I took a chance Came out of my cage Ignore the circumstance So filled with rage! They all knew I should've seen it Seen it in their eyes Always so quick to fall, Mrs. Brightside! Always the strong one Dressed in black Bleeding red So many thoughts in my head Put it on paper Scream it out! Let them all know what I'm about. But you kicked my ego Fucked my pride And I let you... Way to go, Mrs. Brightside. That heart that was once red Now filled to the brim with black Thump, thump, thump...dead. Massive heart attack! Attack on my heart, By your evil ways. I'm done with those days. I never. Never again! Or so she says. Because she's Mrs. Brightside. Always so careful. Always so smart. Always so strong. Always so independent. Always so....bright. Dear Mrs. Brightside, why'd you let it happen to you? Everybody's fool! They snatch up your heart. And you, you let them. Now you're numb. Mrs. Brightside...how can you be so dumb? Wow, this is really suckish once I read over it, but it's just something I had to get out. *I'm listening to The Killers right now xD Songs used: Mr. Brightside-The Killers Numb-Linkin Park Everybody's Fool-Evanescence

Thanks, I tried to put in lyrics from "Mr. Brightside" as much as I could, but it didn't fit that much. The message in this poem and the message in the song by The Killers, is actually the same though :P Yes, "Mr. Brightside" is a very addictive song v.v
