Some people like being in a realationship others like being single. So whats your personal preference and why ?

^ yehhh I hate being single when you go through rough times makes it all a bit harder

^Very true. Another thing that is tough is actually deciding if someone is right for you. I'm sure we all enter relationships with some doubts, but sometimes they never go away...

^ very true I guess its all a bit like trial and error really even though it hurts when you find that right someone the pain you went through doesnt matter anymore.

I think I prefer to be single. I need independence & even if being in a relationship is pleasant sometimes ,I don't like this feeling to be "indebted" to someone...

In a relationship- I love being able to go home at the weekend, being able to put on a dvd, my feet up, have a pizza and a drink and somebody cuddling up to me =)

Whoever I am in a relationship with is a good friend as well so that's another reason I say relationship.

Both are good in their own ways. In a relationship, you have companionship and someone to talk to, spend time with, enjoy the little and big things life throws at you, together. But being single, there aren't any constraints, no other opinions to consider other than your own. You could up and move to Vegas if you wanted. Lol. Personally, I prefer the security and happiness found in a serious relationship. You just have to find the right person to share yourself with.

^yehh good and bad on both sides and it really just depends on what kind of person you are. I've been single for quite a while now even though im not 'old' it would be nice to be with someone and have fun just muck around and have a laugh i LOVE having a realtionship where you can just laugh and be an idiot and your partner still finds it funny.

I enjoy both, to some extent. Being with someone you care about and love dearly can be such a wonderful thing especially when there is nothing standing in between you and the person your with. Being single, however, reassures you that you don't have to worry about the struggles that you have to face in order to be with that persson if the relationship is difficult. It's hard to be fully engaged in a relationship when one is so doubtful and paranoid about what may happen in the future or what's happening at that moment, you know? In other words, being single gives you that sense of security and protection from getting hurt if you are in a difficult relationship. A relationship, depending on how it is, gives you that sense of happiness and affection that being single can really never give you. It's a win/lose situation, in all seriousness, haha. I will admit that I love being able to have someone who is just loving you for you. It's a wonderful feeling, haha. Almost crazy.

^ YES hahah :] I tend to be very paranoid in realationships because of past boyfriends cheating and treating me like a doormat :/ But i guess if you find a good guy they will stick with you and prove that they love you for you. There are difficulties in realationships too though i mean some people are very touchy feely hugs kisses e.c.t where as i dont like being touched very much ( long story ) but i guess you justt gotta be a bit like trial and error until you find him or her

I know what you mean, back when I was at college my then missus decided to break up with me and went out with my best mate (don't worry I was fine as I mew we wern't working out and it was a mutual split). They have been together ever since (7 years now) and had had a baby boy who I am god father too. I on the other hand have been in and out of so many relationships with women of different subcultures and classes, ages creeds and religions I feel I'm doing the okie kokie of relationships (in, out, in, out), non so far have been for me- main cause of splitting up being my time spent away from home with work or being cheated on, but I still hold out in hope that there is someone out there for me. Riri, your still young yet and although you have a very sensible head on you, keep your hope up and love may sucker punch you before you can tell Cupid to stay away! ^_^

Haha well thanks but still just because im young doesnt mean i miss being loved and loving someone ! I wish cupid would hurry up coz im getting tired of being single :(
