We're in this together This deep dark pit We must work together To get out of it. Don['t escape without me You're crawling up the side I tug you down I must keep you inside. We dug it ourselves We dug it too deep Now we can't get out The sides are too steep. I boost you up We must escape! Get out of here Escape our fate! A shimmer of hope You've found a way out I wait with baited breath Leaving behind all doubt. You've escaped Escaped our Hell Now I wait for you To help me out as well. I wait and I wait Forever it seems Here in agony For your return I scream. Crying in despair I sink to the floor Here so alone Forevermore.

This whole poem is one huge metaphor to describe how I feel about my current relationship, and what I'm afraid of :/ I'm kinda obsessed with metaphors lol
