My Parents Want to Meet Her Mar 06 2011, 07:50 AM

Okay so the title pretty much sums this up... Me and Becca have been together a month this Saurday, we said we would take things slow and meet parents an stuff after two months but it's my birthday Thursday and I really want to be with Becca, my parents have asked me and I've asked her to go out for a meal together. I am so nervous about my parents and them embarrassing me! I know they'll love Becca she's so perfect! Gah what do I do? How do I make sure my parents behave? Any help at all please?? I really can't lose Becca (she wont leave me I know) but my mam seen love bites on my neck an said I should take Becca sandwhiches she must be hungry so I am so nervous about her making jokes like that again or something an me an Becca just wanting to hide!

Parents will allways make jokes that are embarassing, can't help that really. As long as you two are in love, you will both look past those moments. And rather laugh at them later. (: Been through all kinds of parent meetings, and trust me. Most of them are embarassing :p Just act yourself and don't bother with the parents (:

I totally agree with the above from experience. My mum has always been nosy and embarrassing, but the longer you leave it the more tension there is. I've been with girls who have first met my parents from less than 1 month up to 6 months!

Really nervous about it! An she is friends with my ex best friend, she added me on facebook and we just "hit it off". We got on so well and opened up so quickly, we met up and talked, then I held her hand an we cuddled in the park and decided there and then we wanted to be with eachother. Now we meet up every week an we spend about 3 hours on the platform saying goodbye to one another because we just don't ant to leave one another. If you're in Cardiff on Saturdays and you go to Bute Park by the castle you are likely to see us both there :) I'm dreading meeting her mum, sister and brother >.< It should only be my parents me and Becca on Thursday but it might be my niece and "sister" too.

So tomorrow my parents are meeting Becca for the first time and it's my 18th... I am so nervous, I tried just thinking it'll be fun but embarrassing parents and no alone time just makes me think EEP! so wish me luck!

My parents majourly embarrassed me but Becca didn't think so... She was so amazing and we went for a meal and had a good night, my parents really like her and she gets on with them. Today she came over and met my two nieces, my brother and his girlfriend, and my one nieces mum. She was so quiet when we were with them and my oldest niece loved her (shes 3) an Becca's just so amazing! I'm meeting some of her family tomorrow >.<

So meeting her family went well! Was so good ebing with her, we've seen eachother every day this weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and it's been so amazing!
