my social studies teacher keeps making jokes about emos..for the past like 2 weeks..like he calls countries emo because they are going through depression in the time period we learn about and stuff like that..do you think hes out of line to say that? hes already gotten talked to by the principle for making racial comments towards african americans during class..

He definitely needs to be put in line. Maybe once is ok but if he keeps doing it, it's out of order. Go to your principal yourself and tell them what he's doing.

Thats so harsh and innapropriate he is a teacher and should be setting an example because all he is doing is showing other kids its okay and its not. He needs to be spoken to and sorted out !

I think it's wierd that a teacher is even using the word emo.... O_o But I definately agree with everyone else. Say it is offending you.

Hmm, I'm not sure he means to offend anyone, I know a few teachers like that. xD Some are just a little old fashoined and need to be told what a teacher can and can't do/say these days. (If he is an old guy though, I'm quite suprised he's even so familiar with the term 'emo'. O.o) Does he seem approachable? If so, he might apreciate you telling him yourself. If not, I'm getting the picture this guy should rethink his career. xD But as for the African American thing, I'm pretty sure thats out of line, and he definately needs a disciplinary hearing atleast! :O

im not gonna go to him myself because hes like 320lbs so like if i said anything hed rip my head off and eat it (literally) 2 years ago he pushed 2 kids down the stairs because it was italian dunker day and thats his favourite food that the school makes...and im not tellin the principal cuz well i dont really know but i would feel weird about it and he would probably be an asshole the rest of the year..and hes not that old hes only 32..and i dont think directing him to this site would end well just so you know.. and if you have facebook you can see what he looks like http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=509689379

Sounds like he probably should be dealt with...He sounds kinda... Not fit to work with children. O____O
