So, I'm living in a place aside from my parent's home with a roommate as you all know. I'm feeling like a pretty immature/crummy person because I don't really think about how money is getting planned out exactly, I just pay the bills as they happen to come along and other than getting those taken care of I don't worry. I don't see any purpose to excessively worry about how much needs to be paid or figured out until I have the proper resources to do so. Is this an unwise point of view? Might it be better for me to care to speak with others about money and how it's being planned even if I don't care to with this mindset? I'd love the opinion of anyone who's been on their own and had to deal with self managing money :P

I lived away in rented places at uni for 3/4years. I can't say I was that bothered about my finances besides buying cheap food! However when I move out again I will pay a lot more attention to my finances because I will be spending most of my hard-earned cash each month (and hopefully no loans).. Sorry if this is a shitty answer as I tend to talk junk late at night..

I know what I should say especially at my age but why worry? the banks, the card companies, the shops, the government, everyone is trying to screw us down anyways so it aint worth getting more depressed for. Running out of alcohol or dog food are mabye the most depressing things at the moment xx
