Everything is just getting to me! May 25 2011, 10:50 AM
I rarely ask for advice myself on my site but I think I need it! Everything is just getting to me. I'm stressed at work, I never have much free time, I don't get enough sleep, I haven't found another girlfriend yet (met up with some but not gone anywhere relationship wise)... I could go on. Just feel like I'm stuck in a void!

It is wise that you are seeking advice on the site. You have helped several persons and now it's time for you to get some help. I can only offer some friendly advice and I hope it helps :). Your lack of sleep and dissatisfaction with life are related to stress itself. It may be difficult, but, a more positive outlook on your life could help you to reduce the stress and in turn help you to sleep better. You may be unable to control your surroundings or your work hours; but you can control your internal feelings and outlook on your situation. DO not worry or fret about "tomorrow" -your future, but take each day at a time with a SMILE!!! with regards to the girls. From what I know about you, you love your women. :) At present you haven't found that perfect match yet. These things happen man! And I'm sure that the right girl is 'stressed" that she hasn't met you either! You're a smart, caring and handsome man. Keep your head high and be patient. You two will find each other someday. So avoid despair with regards to love and keep hoping and keep your eyes open. Use this more difficult period " this void" to make yourself stronger. I'm sure that a man as experienced as yourself has already felt as though you were trapped in a void before. Yet, you are here today and your still living. As we both agree "once you're alive there is always hope" :)

Thats part of the down side of doing things for other people like you do! You tend to forget about your own needs etc untill it eats away and bites you. Do something for you! If I get low I tend to do something random like drive out to the moors and throw rocks at bigger rocks! (but then again Im a little strange that way) I usually lose myself in music at the same time, nothing gentle, full on 70s punk is the only thing that does it Im afraid. Last time someone came from nowhere and asked me what I was doing? so I thought why not and told him. He just walked away shaking his head and muttering about people acting their age etc. F*** if I acted my age I guess I would be just like him walking around head shaking and muttering. (pass me the zimmer now).. Oh and alcohol helps
