I don't want to be like you All those dirty things you do Wash you out of my mind You'll be coming back in time Can't even feel the rain Droplets slamming into my face You're the one who took my smile It was sure to die, after a while Don't forget to take my letter Tuck it in the pocket of your sweater I'll watch you leave in style This was sure to die, after a while Watching black and white TV Reminders of you and me You took away my color Yellow, blue, and all the others Red, black, white, and grey These are all that remain Red for my bloodshot eyes 'Cause everything dies, after a while Paint me a picture Help me remember All the memories that I blocked Feelings deep inside me locked Can't recall a gentle kiss From your bittersweet lips Had my memories all in files But they all fade and die, after a while I don't wanna be like you All those evil things you do Washed you out of my mind The only memory that won't die Can't even feel the pain When I fight the numbness of my brain Think I'm starting to feel tired Guess I'm gonna die, after a while. (I wrote it as a song at first... Then I had to go and forget the tune -_-)
