Just thought this might be an interesting topic :) Think its possible to choose who you fall for? Parents seem to think so xD Some of my friends say it is but Im not no sure myself, like i fell in love with my best friend, didnt want to but it happened, but is it because I wanted to fall in love with someone who I knew was amazing or something?? Again, thought it would be an interesting topic of discussion :) Enjoy ^^

I think there is a point where you can control who you fall for.

You've fallen for them because you're consistently near them and if it feels like you have no choice who your heart chooses, then you're probably not seeing them for their flaws as well; making it a blind admiration. As pleasant as that feels too, it never seems to turn out well. That's from my experience anyhow. I'm not the best example as I will bluntly turn a guy down before the prescheduled first date because I get scared. If you like a guy at your age go ahead and pursue it, just have fun with it and date casually. It's best to have many good experiences.

Good question :L Personally I don't think it is possible - although you can make yourself be closer to people, only your heart can decide who you fall for in the end. Or, from a scientific point of view, there is a chemical attraction between two people that is partly based on your genes and partly based on the survival instinct - you feel attracted to someone because you want your offspring to be half of that person xD

If you fell for someone completely like you it wouldnt work so you need types of opposite to make the relationship as best as possible. I dont think you can help who you fall for belive it or not few types ive fallen for a 'chav' or two so really i dont think you can ahaha

I agree with you all, in the end you cant really choose who you fall for, but i do think that in the end, you will only fall for certain people, as one of you said, it wont be someone exactly like you, but a bit different, after all, opposites always attract xD
