You You were once my life breath My soul My all But every angel Has to fall Plunging through the dark Through thorns and blades Built from your own Perfect lies A radiant angel? A devil in disguise. And the world sits in silence As this broken creature cries Its wings shattered and broken Scarlett teardrops raining down Leaving trails of misery Swirling lakes upon the ground Screams of lament The silent sound Beyond all knowing Beyond all care It sheds its wings Rips out its hair Its hidden body Raw Bare Red Not from pain But the revellation Of its truth Again Nevermore An Angel In Disguise Forever onwards A Devil In Disgrace.

^ lol when i saw you commenting on the poems i was like here goes Matt admiring his site members poems this is some really nice work! I particularly like the style/ structure of the poem xD
